Things I can see are:-

The Green lines in the chart above show harmonious flows of energies between the following areas of your life, over the coming days

life long vision and current philosophical and visionary stance and courageous healing

discovering, listening to and hearing deep, inner, hidden "voices" of intense creativity and wonder

Many of us may find little things irrationally irritating us, around this time. The line up of planets is intense, with a number of conjunctions occurring.

I have written a few articles at the bluecray blogspot - Wisdom in the Land

Winter Solstice of June 2009 in the Southern Hemisphere. Venus and Mars will be conjunct for the Winter Solstice. The Moon and Mercury will be conjunct. As will be Saturn and Ceres.
Article on the conjunction of Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron (which is a slow going conjunction occurring now, at the Winter Solstice time, and for some months yet)

The Moon is the interesting one to watch.

THE Moon (emotional centre) is just leaving the conjunct Venus (harmony) and Mars (direction), in the Morning Sky, today, Saturday 20th June 2009 as I speak.

The Moon (emotions) will be conjunct Mercury (ideas), tomorrow morning, for the Winter Solstice - then not quite two days later, it is the "Dark of the Moon". This is traditionally a deeply magical timing of the Seasons, Solar System and beyond.

Why I am telling this to you, is because of your deep love for the River System close by to you, and our respect of the great Murray-Darling System of Australia. I am telling you because I know that you, FB and others there "vibrate" the Mallee.

During these next few days of Winter Solstice, dark of the moon and Conjunction after Conjuntion of various planets, there are a couple of things to be noted in your chart, Susi.

The HARMONIOUS Transiting Venus Mars conjunction with your own Natal Venus, Mars and Sun cluster.
The Current Conjunction of Saturn and Ceres is contained within area of your own Venus, Sun and Mars cluster, up there in your 10th and 11th houses. Saturn and Ceres are connected strongly to the "food bowl" of humanity, as is the Murray River System. Prayer, now, whilst all these planets harmonise, can be extremely powerful.

It is as if you can literally embrace Saturn (system, order, pattern)and Ceres (harvest, daily bread), with your own Mars (directions)and Venus (harmonies), and then bless them all with your Sun (heart). And this, dear Susi, is powerful spiritual focus.

Now, all of this type of focus can be done rather easily within your meditations and daily activities. But also, some of your work may be to do with highly creative ideas that you have now, but maybe are not quite able to do, right at this exact time. If you have any, that you think are worthy of nurture, put them in your diary, and work on them, slowly over time. Some may pay off over the coming year.

Here is Benoit sitting nicely on my arm. I have been teaching him to land on my arm, and today, when he landed, he seemed rather at ease, and had a little talk with me.

All the baby crows - Benoit, Lucy and Baba are doing really well, as are the parents, Benoit has grown into the biggest, the fattest, the greediest, and Lucy is still the one that everyone loves. Baba is the most distant - and actually looks the smallest at the moment, but I guess that could change.

Benoit loves to eat - I took a small mouse that I had caught, outside onto the roadway, for the Crows to catch. As I let it go, the Father Crow swooped quickly after it, just missing, as it dashed into the thick grass. The Father Crow, Benoit and Lucy spent about five minutes looking in the grass for the mouse, but they never found it.

I gave them some mandarine and a some meat offcuts then, and they were very happy about that. Benoit is now showing alot more expression, in his eyes, at me, and I wish that I knew what he was saying, sometimes, when he comes to visit.

JUST LOOK at the red and green lines on these two charts: not too much stuff - some nice green ones (easy energy flows) and RED lines (harder energy flows).

And so, for you, overall, your chart looks like there is alot of little challenges in life, but overall, the world presents you with a nice combination of easy and not so easy energy. The planets, at the moment, are somewhat challenging (upper RHS).... stronger conflicting energies, but nothing catastrophic, in general... ........

to achieve these rewards, and to master your harder tasks, here are a few reminders to help you one your way:-

Now, are you familiar with fractal theory, Mandelbrot's equations that lead to those beautiful patterns from mathematical calculations? (no, not the Benoit Mandelbrot that pigs out on food in my back yard! The REAL Benoit Mandelbrot!!! the mathematical wizard!)

The basis, appears to me, that everything has an essence, and from that essnce flows a most wonderfully totally unique pattern. This pattern, is, however, repeated in different way, perpetually changing, but always, the same "essence keeps appearing, coming through in different ways.

Well, i had a look at some of your patterns, as the astrology chart can give this information, and when i linked up this patterning with the Sabian symbols, I discovered the following:-

when we are born, our first breaths somehow become one with the planet earth, and the solar system, and then, this breathing keeps echoing its pattern, into our life force, and our time here on earth. Th first patterns of breath are somehow echoed over and over again throughout our lives, but form more complex, and intricate patterns of life. However the basic essence is still the same.

AND so, when i look at the first half hour of your life, i came up with the following:-

(now, i chose to limit myself to the first half hour of your life due to three particular signs. I won't go into them, but the signs were very clear, as to when i should stop, say enough is enough, I HAVE found the patterns that i am after.... to explain to you!!!)

and so... here they are....

firstly, in your chart, there are planetary configurations that form strong tensions, for quite a number of months with transiting planets...... indicating that you will somehow grow very strong, and your character will become stronger, and more disciplined (especially in joyful approach).

**finally, as the cycle comes to a close, you see the magic of the dawn, the awesomeness of where you have come from, and where you spirit IS. You can delight in simple social events with a free mind and relaxed attitude, and through an inventive, funloving but serious mind, you create beautiful spaces in existence, drawing on past resources.

Hi Al! how beautiful a Wild Safety Goddess!!!! yes, great thinking!!! - When i painted protection onto my helmet, i used my astrology strengths and a dragon.

When i read your note, immediately i saw magenta and pink.

These colours -what do they mean ?

- perhaps, as mars is the go go dude of machinery, pink and magenta are a vibration of that , only more feminine - also, fluoro is great -(if you look at alot of bikes, and alot of motorcycle racers, they will have fluoro colors somewhere on them).

and so, to think of colors is a good start.... next you could play the numerology numbers game. hang on - i shall just make a photo of the game, so you can do it....

below is the numbers game for making a strong symbol to go with you Goddess of Wild Safety..........

Using numerology to create a power token is a fun thing to do, and can be incorporated into any symbols that go with your Goddess of Wild Safety. Wings, i should think, would go with this goddess, and some humour and laid back attitude would also help. And, of course, COURAGE.

Well, firstly, the Sabian Symbol for MERCURY (mind, ideas, communications) today (2nd February 2009) is:

DEFEATED GENERAL YIELDS UP HIS SWORD WITH NOBLE DIGNITY .

This indicates the mind yeilding, but overall true spiritual victory... swords and mercury and the mind - they all have a double edge.....

Mars (active energy and direction of ego) is nearing the end of Capricorn (the builder), and so, while we tend to almost see what we can do and accomplish, there is still work to be done. Because we have been so hard at it, trying to build things, we can tire, towards the end of whatever phase of building, that we are in. This just means that it is time to consolidate what we have done, to date, already, and then get ready for the next phase, of putting our hopes and big ideas (Aquarius) into action, as Mars enters AQUARIUS soon.

But, for now...and....over the next 5 days, the MOON goes through a series of tension producing aspects with a number of planets........ and this tension will not ease until the 7th February, 2009. This is particularly so for tension "junkies" - those individuals who thrive on tensions, or have tension as a habit in their life. THUS, if you are a tension "junkie", the next 5 days are an excellent time to "CHILL OUT and observe".

tomorrow (Tuesday 3.02.09) : MOON square SUN (emotions v's spirit direction) - a wonderful day to feel rather stuck, but if you find the balance, then this can be a break through day for understanding inner turmoil and how to manage it.

next day (Wednesday 4.02.09) : MOON square NEPTUNE (emotions v's vision, faith and institutions) - a great day to let go, an excellent day to NOT count and measure how much "stuff" and "money" you have made............connect to your spirit, test your faith and visions - and maybe stay away from dealing with institutional matters. This is a very good day to be by the water, but not to take risks in the water!!!

next day (Thursday 5.02.09) : MOON square URANUS and SATURN opposite QUAOAR (emotions v's higher hopes and ideals v's building v's manifesting.)...... possibly a rather good day for getting things done, if you are balanced and relaxed.... just do things on a small scale tho - in nice small compartments - try to keep things SIMPLE!!!!

next day (Friday 6.02.09) : MOON square VENUS opposite PLUTO (emotions v's harmony and balance v's change)................... a great day to work on balance for ultimate transformation. Play music, move the furniture about, it is OX year now, and the energies have changed in the PLANET, and it is time to redo the house, the furniture and refine the flow of energy in your workspace, and in your home or office!

Australia has a geological and ecological history of many many wetland areas within its more "traditionally dry" areas, it is not uncommon for the central areas of Australia to fill up with water, and for the Pelicans, and many other animals and birds of the world, and Australia, to gather at these wetlands for major breeding cycles as the area undergoes regeneration.

The Pleiades , Aldebran and Hyades ( Rainy Ones ) were conjunct my Natal MOON when I was born. This allows me to fully feel rain, water and flooding times. To use this to advantage, I have spent the past month focusing my prayers on the Murray Darling System and Lake Eyre System, as I am aware that many others in Australia, and around the world are also doing this - praying for RAIN. Valuable rain for the restoration of this Australian icon and important mentor of habitats.

Symbolism is a powerful tool. The use of Symbolic astrological tools, fixed stars and constellations can be incorporated into art to help affirm prayer, actions and visions. Below is my symbolic connection, via Art and use of this blog article, to help make concrete, within the mass consciousness, the direction of prayer for rain, love and natural harmonies within the Murray Darling System. This may seem somewhat obtuse in reasoning, but for me, personally, it makes sense!

Even a little prayer can help, in these days of increase mass consciousness co-operation between groups and individuals. Connect with this vibration, send it up and down the Murray Darling System..... every prayer counts!!! For me, I will send my prayers with the Crows, and their inlands brothers and sisters, in their divine state, will help spread the word - Rain is coming, the Murray and the Darling will fill, and the wonder of nature will show mankind just how resilient the earth is, when given love respect and care.

Sabian Symbols and chart for " Grace "

Here a person who is essentially balanced in the elements of earth air fire and water, with a rather flexible approach to life.
Perhaps indecisive at times, possibly unwilling to take the lead, prefering to be given the lead before taking the ball and running with it.
Possibly a team player who can flex to different positions within the team when required.

But first, let's look at the progressed chart (where the DIRECTIONS of life are taking "Grace").

From birth (Chart 1), I can see the SUN (creative spirit) approaching conjunction with MARS (active energy). This shows a person with much energy. Active energy that can be directed by the creative spirit. Hence, A VALUABLE TOOL in life will be remembering that there are creative solutions to problems, then acting on those solutions.

When we look at the DIRECTIONS (Chart 2), I can see that MARS (active energy) has just passed the natal JUPITER (knowledge), thus increased knowledge has occurred, and can now start to be applied about the age of 50 years.

Looking at the symbols attached to NEPTUNE ( subconsious, visions, dreams faith), JUPITER (knowledge) and MARS (active energy) in the natal chart (Chart 1) I can see the following:-

Neptune (subconscious, visions, faith, dreams) (Chart 3) shows a vast capacity to go very deep. There is, however, a tendency - a very strong tendency to stay deep, within the emotional subconscious framework and not return. She possible has found familiarity in this emotional depth, no matter how uncomfortable it is. This has a way of alienating "Grace" from the world, and gives a tendency to stay too "deep in emotion" and not surface for a healthy session in reality and lightness of being.

MARS (active energy), on the other hand, has briefly met with natal JUPITER (knowledge) over the past few years in Sagittarius (Chart 3), and the natal MARS has symbols of active seeking out knowledge, on many levels. And so, what we have is a person who has gained much knowledge, will actively seek out more knowledge, and apply that knowledge, especially as she comes into her 50's.

This knowledge, can help refloat "Grace" from those depths of emotion (NEPTUNE) that she is so accustomed and familiar with. The wider knowledge base acting as a bouyant life raft, on which she can surface back into the world, and stay above the deeper emotions of the subconscious, the bigger the life raft.

Below are the sabian symbols for each year (approximately) of "Grace's" life. Each year symbol represent's Grace's brief interest, via the spirit focus, for that year. Linda Hill has written a very useful book on the SABIAN SYMBOLS, it may be in a library for reference, or can be purchases via her website.

Sabian Symbol interpretations for each year of "Grace's" life, starting at year one, and going through to the mid sixties.

The years are abit "loose", and may merge. In other words, years one and two may merge somewhat, years ten and eleven may merge, years eleven and twelve may merge. It is the flow of events that I am looking at, in particular, though. The unfolding of symbolic spirit direction, as it travels through time and space, in "Grace's" worldly experience.

IN GENERAL

The first six years of life are about balance, hopes, wishes, and where "Grace" fits into the scheme of the world, on a one to one basis, while a rush of activity surrounds her.

From ages 6 to 16, many beginnings, deep deep emotions and the need for feeling nurtured, amidst an everchanging base is the overall trend
The ages of 15 to 25 indicate a huge metamorphosis and transformation in the life, with a tendency to go deeper and deeper within oneself. There may be a deep urge to become financially independent, and the beginning of unlocking sexual mysteries that will lead to greater understanding/ benefit later in life
The years 25-35 indicate rather mystical experiences, matters of faith are questioned, and dealings with institutions indicated, possibly also great limitations that lead to better inner understanding of self, and hidden enemies become better understood - such as the subconscious mind and fears

From year 36 to 46 there is an urge for "Grace" to walk her talk, and learn to sit well with just being herself. Years 45-55 show a creative phase, where the child within is finally contacted, the spirit is connected with in a divine and exciting way, speculations, gambling and many creative endeavours come to the fore. Music and theatricals can become part of the spirit path in these ten years
Years 55-65 promise a release from binding conditions, true knowledge and expansion of purpose, living one' s talk and walking one's talk

In an allegorical representation an eagle and a large white dove are revealed constantly changing into each other. The prime spirit impulse is that of peaceful person alternating with a more agressive, watchful person, eager to hunt and seek.

2nd year

Like a great soaring bird - a single brilliant spot in the bright sky- an airplane overhead sails about calmly. The person is calm, observant, detached with quiet inner strength

Benoit Mandelbrot -my crow friend at Burringbar

This morning I awoke to the Moon rising in the east, as a thin balsamic sliver, shining through the misty clouds. I looked high above me, in the sky to see CORVUS up near the midheaven.

I came inside and turned the radio on. It was just after 5am, Saturday 24th January 2009. There was a song being played called Rain Crow Bill , a song by Sonny Terry and Woodie Guthrie on "Beyond Mississippi : The Blues That left Town".

The serendipity of this captured my attention.

A couple of mornings prior to this day, I had spent a morning in Byron Bay taking photos to illustrate the impact of people on the Byron Bay environment. A particular festival was in the back of my mind, as I had only 5 years or so before, been camping in Belongil Fields, when the Bluesfest crowds arrived , to take over the campsite, disrupting the wildlife, and leaving broken glass, plastic, cigarette butts, batteries, and other waste littered across the countryside and through the town and beaches.

The time was right to create the collages and the blog post.

Also, the astrology of the moment intrigued me. What was happening in the heavens, that spurred me to awaken, look at the sky, and think to write the article?

Firstly - the name of the song. (Rain Crow Bill )

Secondly - the name of the album that it came from. ( "Beyond Mississippi : The Blues That left Town" ) : This Byron Bay Bluesfest is currently leaving town to a new location,, further up the East Coast of NSW, in the Tyagarah area.

Thirdly - Corvus high up in the sky while the song played.

Fourthly - I had already focused on doing an article, following my trip into Byron Bay 2 days earlier.

But was there was possibly something else that was pushing me along?

The astrology chart for that moment showed Mars was rising. And, it was Conjunct my natal rising line. In other words, the point that was rising this morning, when I tuned into the radio, was that same part of the sky that was rising when I was born.

And Mars was transiting there, rising, as I listened to the radio, and watched the Constellation Corvus high in the sky.

The aspect of transiting Mars, across the natal Rising Line (Mars conjunct AC) can show increased directional energy and motivation (as well as a few cuts, scrapes, and brash feelings!!).

Both transiting Sun and transiting Jupiter were conjunct my natal Mercury, at about 3 degrees Aquarius. This can help the mind become full of spirit and knowledge, and wish to share it with others.

I used photos of water lilies in the collages, to illustrate spiritual growth, purity and blossoming. I have also had some very clear visions when camping at that Bluesfest Camping site years ago, where aboriginal women spirits appeared, gathering water lillies in the billabongs of a past era in time. They talked with me, and repeatedly visited me, during my years of living in Byron, guiding me through an intense "healing" phase of my life.

Also, in that camping ground at Belongil fields, I witnessed a full moon eclipse by the earth, that peaked just as the sun rose, about 5 years ago. From the time the eclipse started, until the full moon set, totally covered by the earth's shadow, the Crows of Belongil Fields flew about, in the darkened hours of the early morning, calling loudly, and waking me to witness the eclipse, which was rather spectacular.

But, back to the Sabian Symbols:-

The relay race is the putting together of the combination of photos, into a collage, the leader guided by his ancesters is my guidance by the aboriginal spirits, that have guided me through my healing, and on to a place where I feel I must "lead", when it comes to environmental common sense and try to give "wake up " calls to the world - via the internet website bluecray.org and blog bluecray.

The Hindu Pundit (where the Sun was transiting, and conjuncting my natal Mercury) is thephilosophical teacher in me, and having taught environmental knowledge for many years, I will continue to do as my goal in life is "Wisdom in the Land".

The high point in the heavens, with it's Sabian Symbol of an old professor? - well, that's me - I am getting on in age now, and finally, all these planets have clustered into my FIRST house.

The first house is that part of your life where you interact with the world, your environment. Thus, the internet and photography session in Byron Bay were all part of the "picture"

Benoit is back!!!!

Hey Susi, Benoit is back !!!!! When I came home this arvo, but Baba is still gone, and Benoit is looking rather lacking in feathers on the neck.

I maybe have worked out what happened. After I did the special posting and collage, the day before yesterday , I went outside, and Benoit was really really excited. A lot of complex Crow talking and wing flapping, like there was something exciting happening. Well, all last night, I kept seeing Benoit in my mind, and this morning woke to a dream where Benoit was telling me that about an arranged visit with the "big" birds. So, I think what happened was Benoit DID go to stay with relatives for the night - like a "sleep over for a whole day and a half, and THAT was what the darling little Crow was trying to tell me the other afternoon. That a sleepover was happening, since Benoit was a "big bird" now, and could spend a night away from the family.

The Mom and Dad Crows really missed having Benoit and Baba about. Baba, although maybe not as bright as Benoit, is older, and he is still away. I think that he is ok - I hope so. Anyway, I am so so happy that Benoit is ok, if a bit worn out looking. I guess the "big bird" relatives probably gave Benoit a bit of a "right of Passage". And I'm not even sure if Benoit is a boy or girl. Anyways, Benoit - was happy to see me, and flew staight down to greet me when I just came home. Looking a bit worse for wear, and rather subdued, but ok!!!!

And now I understand why the Mom and Dad were calling out so loudly all day yesterday - they were calling to the children who had gone on the "sleepover" far away with the other Crows.

I have decided that I love and respect crows more than ever now!!!!!

This has been one of the biggest learning curves in my life - learning that loving wild creatures means I must "let go" and be cool and detatched like the birds are!

And so, we come back to my darling CROWS , their mystery, magic and their myth.

The Crow was the symbolic WHITE bird of Apollo. Apollo turned Crow black due to the Crow's actions. Apollo entrusted the white Crow with a mission to get pure water. Instead of completing the task for Apollo, the CROW decided to hang out near a fig tree and eat FIGS. The Crow then blamed it's tardiness in completing Apollo's request, on a snake!

Hence, Apollo turned the Crow black and set the Crow (CORVUS) up in the sky with the WATER SNAKE (Hydra) and the CUP (Crater). And so, the circle is almost complete. We are Back to Benoit, the Crow, and his father, and the moon.... and the magic of LIFE!!!!

And life has many interlinked stories like this - stories that intertwine and meander over and over the same symbols, interlinking and reinforcing ideas........and, of course, cygnus (SWAN) is also a constellation!

Benoit Mandelbrot

Benoit Mandelbrot has been flying since late October, 2008. He is the middle sibling of three children born to two Crows that live next door to me in Burringbar, in the Mt Warning Caldera Region of NE NSW, Australia. The family is a tight knit unit. The Father Crow has done much hard work to raise his children, with his Wife, and soon the children will be independent.

All three children of the Crows still have their baby voices, although sometimes Benoit and the older sibling Baba O'Riley can make some pretty convincing adult sounds. Over the December and January months, the children have vastly expanded their vocals, and eating skills. All three children have counted coup with the children of other birds in the neighbourhood - Kookaburras, Currawongs and Hawks. They do not fight with Magpies, although I notice that, when very young, the Crow children would "stalk" the adult Magpies. This was tolerated very kindly, by the "stalked" adult.

As told earlier in this blog, Baba was the first of the babys to fly up very high with a Sea Eagle.

At other times, the Crow children have flown, with their parents (particularly their Father) to chase adult Wedge Tail Eagles, Sparrow Hawks, Grey and Brown Goshawks and Kookaburras, but usually it is the Father Crow that continues the chase, and the Crow children retreat to safe arbours while he fights, chases and counts coup.

When the children first flew from their nest in the Crows Ash Tree, I couldn't distinguish between them easily. However, even when they were in their nest, I felt that there was often a little pair of eyes watching me, and had an intuitive feeling that one of the Crow children would become my friend.

From almost their first flight, there was always one little Crow that would give me an extra long gaze, focus into my eyes, and try to talk with me. Now, as I have learnt to distinguish the Crow children more, I can see Benoit, even in the air, or high up in a tree, by mannerisms and voice. Benoit even comes when I call.

"Benoit! Benoit" I call, and Benoit comes flying down to me, and has a little talk. Swooping over my head landing only inches from me, but will not land on my hand. I have fed these babies, and their parents, after the Father Crow had a serious wing injury,and so, I guess that it is not unusual for them to come to me. Their parents, however, are quite distrustful of closeness to people, and prefer to stay at a distance. I put out clean water for them daily, which they love to drink, bathe and soak their food in.

Benoit's Father has sometimes come to me, asking if I will help chase a goanna. He was prone to do this when the Children were still in the nest. But that is another story.....

Meanwhile, back to Benoit, the smart little Crow. Although second to leave the nest, Benoit has shown much intelligence, and is often the first to respond to the parent Crows' calls, a situation or opportunity. Benoit will often come down to me and just sit and talk with me. Looking into Benoit's eyes is like discovering another universe. The beauty, wildness, intelligence and sensitivity astound and amaze me. My respect for Crows has increased a thousandfold, since getting to know this family. It is funny, even as I write this article, Benoit is up in the "birth" tree practicing the "alarm" call, and play fighting with the elder Crow, Baba. About a week ago, when Benoit came up to me, talking many different crow words, I repeatedly said "hello, hello". Then, to my astonishment, Benoit said "hello" back to me. TWICE!!!! What a smart little fellow Benoit Mandelbrot is.

One of my favourite pastimes is to sit in the evening warmth, and watch the first stars appear, with the children of the Crows all sitting nearby. This is a peaceful event, quite often.... but not when the Hawks arrive with their children, to inspect the old crow's nest in the birthing tree and attack the children of the Crows! No, on those evenings, everyone is alert, and when it becomes too much, the father Crow will take the children and his wife off to the nearby family of Crows that live a kilometre or so away, and spend the evening there! I don't blame him. The Hawks are fierce, relentless and can severely injure a baby Crow. But, somehow, I feel that Benoit will survive Crow childhood and grow into a very wise old Crow.

Benoit Mandelbrot is indeed a very smart and brave Crow.

What's happening in Swan Hill this weekend?

Saturday, 24th January, 2009 is like a preparation day for the more important astrological day of SUNDAY, 25th January, 2009.

Saturday 24th Jan 2009 will be fairly similar, in flow, to Sunday 25th Jan 2009. Except that on Saturday (24/01/09), the MOON (emotional centre, people) will still be a fair bit away from MARS, MERCURY, JUPITER and the SUN.

The MOON is on the approach on Saturday, and so the "PUBLIC" will just be starting to become involved with things. The nurturing will just be beginning. This IS a great day to involve people and get them ready to THINK. Sunday will be a day of putting thoughts into action, and so the preceding day (Saturday) is a great day to get people ready!!

The MOON will be high in the sky by 11.20am (EST - Daylight Saving Time), thus encouraging people to be out and about.

In preparation for the day, try to get up early and see the MOON in the morning sky, before the SUN rises. The MOON will be in the east, just above the horizon, as the daylight comes. It should be visible before the Sun rises on this Saturday.

This above report lists the Grey Goshawk as verging on threatened in the Catchment Area, in 2003

The reason I have put this link in, is to highlight a few things -

Firstly, Lake Boga may be a place that you could take or send the Sahaja Yoga people, as I feel that there is something there, that some of them may like to see or experience.

Secondly, a Grey Goshawk flew to the trees here, while I was writing this article, and the Crows chased it, but did not really want to chase it - it was like a half hearted chase. This seemed unusual. Also, this particular Grey Goshawk was of the PURE WHITE variety.

In searching for references for this Grey Goshawk, I realised that it is not very common down there, where you live, but has been observed.

Here is a link to picture and article about a pure white Grey Goshawk seen earlier in 2008, near Geelong.

For some reason, a pure white bird, that is a hawk, suggests spiritual messengers, to me.

Also, because my darling Crow family here, did not really want to chase this pure white bird, this made me think that the Swan Hill weekend for the Sahaja Yoga people may, whilst highlighting their presence as a rarity, may also be very well accepted by some of the "Town Folk"

My friend Susi, who has followed Sahaja Yoga for many years now, has asked me to offer some western astrology inspirations for the upcoming activities in Swan Hill, Australia this coming Australia Day Weekend.

Listening to Shri Mataji speak at the Brisbane City Hall many years ago, she appears like a living treasure in the world, inspiring thousands of people to love, hope, practical spirituality and self reflection. Shri Mataji offers her life and wisdom- free- to the world, although I am sure that there has been considerable costs to her, as she nurtures and instructs the followers of Sahaja Yoga.

I have a deep respect for what this global Sahaja Yoga community is achieving in the world.

And now to the astrology of this coming Australia Day weekend.

I would suppose that many of the Sahaja Yoga followers use the Indian Astrology. I am not an Indian Astrologer. I am an Astrologer of the "western" variety.

And so, my astrology is about the western interpretation for these few days.

Mercury will still be retrograde on these days, allowing reflection on ideas and life - a "holiday" mentality.

By 10.30am (daylight savings time): the planetary body of QUAOAR (the manifester) will be at the highest point in the sky. This high point, or MIDHEAVEN, is considered to be a very potent and powerful place for any planetary body. VENUS (harmony centre) and URANUS (mass consciousness centre) will be rising.

Take note of what birds sing, at this time, what birds make themselves known. Their symbology can be studied and linked to this time of praying for peace, understanding and consciousness shifting.

Tensions my be apparent at this time, but rising above it, to promote the realisation of the dream and vision of harmony and peace throughout all of mankind, this tension can create a steep shift in consciousness and perceptions.

All this, that I am talking about - this grasping of the moment, in time, and using the planetary bodies to enhance human activity and transformation, this prayer, meditation, fellowship and harmony, direction of will and ideas - all these things will have FAR REACHING EFFECTS into the FUTURE.

And so, what does this mean? Well, the MOON is a symbol for our emotional centre, and MARS is a symbol for our actions and activities of the ego. Both the MOON and MARS will be approaching a conjunction with MERCURY (symbol for our ideas and communications).

A youth, a male may turn up about this time? anyway, bathing, wetting the feet, and reposing and resting can be done as the time approaches 1pm. This is a great time to expect nothing, feel a bit lazy and just "drink in" life.

When collecting seed, always empty your mind first, and ask the "land" if it is ok to collect the seed. You will be given an answer if the mind is empty , receptive and clear. Often, when this form of "asking the land" is used, some clear instructions are also "heard". For example, you may "hear" an instruction, such as "plant the seed here or there", bring more water or humus to the tree", bring a rock and place it here or there", "bring some seeds from other plants and spread them here". These are just example, as what nature whispers in the ear of the receptive mind, can be rather diverse, unusual or extremely simple. Just go in love, and you may "hear" the land speak to you, under this tree, if you are quiet and just LISTEN with your heart.

Charts, Art and the Way of the World

ART and all it's forms can be related to human survival and expression.

The purpose of much of humanity's ART has been to serve our need for expression and our need for survival.

An historical visionary component of ART can be linked to our ancestors' desires to create a form or expression of something that they perceived or felt, something that they were currently experiencing, or something in their future/present/past, that they desired, conceived or perceived.

The idea of casting a Natal Horoscope carries with it the desire to see what may pass, what is, and what has been . It is easy to read what we "want" to see in a CHART, as opposed to what "is" in a CHART. A natal CHART is very much like a piece of ART, as it holds a story, a perspective, graphics, color, a vision, a history and concepts.

And a Natal CHART is also very much a "piece of ART" in that it's interpretation lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Now, the beholder may be a rather clever fellow, who is well versed in the history, techniques and lore of astrology.

OR, the beholder may be a lay astrologer, even a novice, who is still learning the skills of the ART of reading a CHART.

Whoever the "beholder" is, the interpretation is still open to INTERPRETATION!!

And the Way of the World is also open to interpretation.

Which brings me to the point of this whole article - Charts, Art and the Way of the World.

Below is the link to some work by a very wise man, whose writings I stumbled serendipitously across over a decade ago.

His work opened my perceptions to the Way of humanity, and the Way of humanity's vision. I cannot quote him, because I do not have a copy of the particular writings here, that I wish to talk about - but it goes something like this (my interpretation)..........

.....Just as the artist of bygone ages painted, wrote, sang, talked, danced and played visions - so artists of the world, right now also create visions.

These visions can have a deep, permeating, transforming and inspiring effect on humanity.

In a world led by forecast of global crisis on all levels, from the more localised economic, health, and quality of life picture, to the actual threat of mass extinction, the role of the visionary artist carries an incredible weight and opportunity.

This opportunistic weight is one of giving life and humanity meaning. A future hope, to carry it through what may be very hard times indeed.

Shining the light of creative love, harmony, courage, compassion and wisdom on the future, by artistically creating a "picture" for others to step into, artists all over the world can help shine the light to a safer haven amongst the uncertainty of global crisis and human mass consciousness dichotomies and run amok egos.

Putting it another way:-

if you cannot see through the car windscreen, how can you see the road and where you are going, if you shut your mind off from empathy and compassion, how can you view the world in love?
If you darken your thoughts with fear of loss, misfortune and anger, how can you shine a light on peace?
If you see only the destructiveness and greed of man , then how can you follow in the goodness of humanity.
If you see only that mankind will destroy the planet and himself, how will you find that place in time and space where it doesn't happen that way.
And if you shine a light on the way to find that place of humanity's survival, spiritual growth and the re-establishment of the"garden" on earth, then others , too, can see the way, and take heart.

And so, today, I see the most important role of artists, world wide, to combine, unite, create and lead, in a visionary capacity, to the way out of the current "crisis" predicament.

It is time to go directly to love, and keep washing and bathing your visions in love until, all other particles of earthly bondage fall away, and only love stays. This IS the ultimate creative force of our time, and IS the Way of the world

Mercury Rising in conjunction with Moon, Jupiter and Mars

The 2009 pass by MERCURY over Mars and Jupiter after Mercury has gone DIRECT again, early 2009.

This should be a beautiful event to "just" see in the sky. It is on the 23rd of February, 2009, about an hour before the sun rises, the sky will be getting rather light in the east.

The MOON, then MERCURY, then JUPITER, then MARS will rise, rather close together. The SUN is still below the horizon, at this time, about 26 degrees away from the moon. Midway between these planets and the Sun, NEPTUNE and CHIRON will be rising.

This time of morning has a beautiful special magic attached to it, and prayer can be used very positively at this time of morning. I would be expecting alot of birds to sing in this morning, as it begins.

The flow of energy in this

conjunction is

the waning MOON rises, emotional "breathing out" period

then the magic of the mind rises in MERCURY

following closely behind is the

majesty of JUPITER and its accumulated knowledge from humanity

and then rising is

MARS the action, directional husbandry and stewardship.

After this rises

NEPTUNE - vision maker, dreamer and prayers of faith

CHIRON - the healing point

You can see in the above chart that after these planets rise (they start to rise at about 4.44am daylight savings,EST ), about an hour or so after this comes the SUN! The SPIRIT. Yes, this days looks like a nice one to greet very early.

Sometimes, standing with one's back to the east, sometimes, these planets can be felt, rather easily, and subtly perceived, as they rise.

At other times, you may be facing east to greet them.

What is interesting is to just be very still, clear, with nothing in your mind, and to just be open to sensing them, as they rise - this can create all types of "doorways" to perceptions of the individual planetary bodies.

Mercury goes retrograde regularly. What is retrograde? It is apparent backward motion of a planetary object. Wall Street Weather has quite a few articles on retrograde mercury concerning the money picture and finance.

Mercury resonates with:

thinking, ideas, short journeys, local communications, work with the hands, general daily tasks, neighbours, close relatives, siblings, talking, writing, reading, phonecalls, pathways, roads, rail, letters - these things have a MERCURY symbolic value. URANUS is the higher "octave" of MERCURY. Thus, Uranus rules long distance communications, electricity, longer journeys - particularly those through air.

Mercury and Hermes have alot in common, as do magic, slight of hand, tricks and spoken lore.

You can often pick "mercury rising" people - they often have hand movements with their speech, seem somewhat alert to conversation, possibly with communications and short journeys prominent in their lives.

Looking at the SUN as the centre of the solar system, the next most relevant planetary body is the moon.

IN the traditional astrology chart, with the sun ruling the fifth house, LEO, you will see that the MOON rules the fourth house, and that, either side of both those houses and signs, lie the 3rd and 6th houses - both RULED by MERCURY.

The 3rd house is GEMINI and the 6th house is VIRGO.

It is in these houses ( or spheres of human activity) that, after the spirit manifests, and takes form, the communications and daily life patterns occur. Mercury retrograde is, in essence, a reminder to go over what we have been doin, because we get a second chance to refine what has happened, and once mercury has finished appearing to go backwards through the sky, it will , after passing MARS in the sky, start its movement forwards again. At some point, the MOON will reach Retrograde MERCURY and MARS in the sky. This pass is on 25th January, 2009 at about 10am EST (11am daylight saving) east coast of Australia.

****A month later, on 23rd February, 2009, early in the morning (Australia Eastern seaboard), about an hour before the sun actually rises, Mercury will be close to the Moon, Jupiter, and Mars. Neptune will be just rising with Chiron, also, but not seen by naked eye, before the sun finally rises. This morning promises many fine moments for prayer and meditation.

****On February 2nd, Mercury finally goes DIRECT again, but by this time, it has passed MARS in the sky, and so , as it moves faster than Mars, it will again pass MARS during the 2nd and 3rd of of March 09, and should be visible in the morning sky with luck, very close to the horizon, just before the sun rises.

Reading an Astrological Chart: Tutorial 2

Above is a horoscope for Thursday, 8th January, 2009. It was cast for the location of Byron Bay, NSW, Australia at 5.32PM.

I am using the Example CHART above to explain some simple ASTROLOGY.

Signs, house and planets relating to FIRE and WATER are highlighted in this tutorial.

In Tutorial 1, we have seen that the chart is a picture of the sky at a particular time. The Twelve HOUSES are numbered 1 to 12, anti-clockwise about the circle. Therefore, the 1st house is RISING, the 2nd house will rise about two hours later then the third house about two hours again and so on , as the earth turns east to west. You can see for the Example Chart above, that at this time of 5.32PM, the earth still has to turn another 30 degrees (or another two hours) before the SUN sets below the western horizon.

WHAT DO the HOUSES MEAN?

Each House stands for a different part/category of life. Each house has been given a TRADITIONAL corresponding Sun Sign that fits with that house.

This could bring with it FIRE, passion, knowing, knowledge, one's philosophical circumstances to the relationship area of life.

At the time of the Example Chart , some signs, although on the cusp of the house, are at the end of the sign, and it is the next sign that is mostly dominant throughout the house. This highlights just how flexible and moveable astrology is. Nothing is ever rigidly "text book".

This morning I woke to ponder your chart, FB.

I had been looking at your work of Shri Mataji,
and thought that if I meditated on your chart,
perhaps some insights would occur.

And so, it went something like this:-

1..When I read a chart, I like to use serendipity. This alighted my

mind on VENUS at 10 degrees Aries, at the time of your birth. My

natal VENUS is only minutes before this point, thus creating a strong

empathy,here,between us. It is from this VENUS point of harmony,

passion, balance, elegance, ownership, partnership, stewardship and

the written word that my reading commences.

Hope Is. Moon Symbols

Hope Is. 9th Jan. '09*

A couple of days ago, I traveled north, to Hope Island on the Gold Coast, Queensland. This area used to be a diverse and wonderous wetlands and series of coastal dunes. Hope Island like so many places on the Gold Coast today, has turned into a typical Gold Coast "wastelands".

The FIG TREE (in the above collage of photos from Hope Is.) is a very very old one that lives in the middle of a bizarre "bazaar" set up of shops, that are appear mostly EMPTY. This empty area of commerce consists of the shops, pavement, utilities and tightly landscaped areas. There are few people. There is scant animal life or plant life. The complex is adjacent to a canal that has no sign of healthy biodiversity.

The FIG TREE is incredibly beautiful, and has been cut back severely, isolated from most of the environmental habitats that it would have been born into. I guess that it has "seen" much, over time. About a year ago, I collected seed from this FIG TREE, and that seed has grown into some lovely little Fig Trees that I am planting about the Mt Warning Caldera Region. I promised this big FIG TREE that I would take its young out to see the world, to grow in places where they might survive also, with the strength of the parent tree. At the time of these photos, this Fig Tree was bursting out in growth, vigour and beautiful plump yellow fruit!! Fig trees are a very ancient form of FLOWERING plant, and as a hub for biodiversity, they are fantastic!

And so, the FIG is in my collage, but what of the Symbols? Well, the FIG is clearly harshly pruned and contained, you can see the close up of the cut limbs. If you try to count th RINGS on the big cut limb, then look at the proportions of the actual trunk , you will see that this is, indeed, an old FIG TREE.

The PALMS (collage bottom right). They were growing at the marina a couple of km away- an exotic species with beautiful big RED FRUIT (collage bottom left) .

These FIXED STARS carry symbols such as -

Alnitak: A Star in the Belt of Orion. Orion is born, in one myth, out of oxhide by Jupiter, Mercury and Neptune. This is one of three very highly visible stars in the belt of Orion, with many myths from different cultures attached to it. Alnitak is attached to the Chinese White Tiger of the West- symbolizing longevity, peace and kingship. See(**)

ALSO, You will see my R80 tank at the base of the moon photo, and below that is the whole R80 in front of the Marina. My R80 is a year of the Chinese Tiger, and is SILVER! Nice one!)

The journey that is captured in this collage of Hope Is. was showing me TIME.

Time as it extended out in a waiting place, that of Hope Is.

I was waiting, the Fig Tree is waiting. Soon, more of the Fig Tree offspring will be planted out into the Caldera.

All the while, on Hope Is. the gardeners will prune and cut back, moderating constantly to suit the strange powers that are the current human custodianship of that dear land.

I did briefly meet a family of 4 crows that live there.

The nearby Marina was full of boats. An aquantance told me he felt that few people live on the boats, as the costs of paying for the new sullage treatment laws for moored boats had become costly, as were other mooring fees.

As the sun set, the surrounding piers and restaurants became full of celebrating Friday night diners and drinkers.

By ten pm, after eating yummie Thai food for dinner, I was at my R80 in the huge carpark near the evening revellry area, trying to get my tail light working. A drunken young man had attached himself to me and my bike (!) to start up some drunken chat, whilst I spannerized about the R80. My friend found her little red torch (collage bottom left) which I strapped onto the back, thus feeling safe enough to ride along the big highway, then up through devil's country and back into NSW and home. The ride home was truly beautiful and relaxed.

Oh, one more thing. CERES , the dwarf planet, was rising when I took the above photo of the moon.

The fixed STAR near to Ceres was COXA.

As the evening progressed - I noticed about the Marina that there was much swagger, righteousness and all things of largeness and display (Coxa). This contrasted with the gentleness of the land, life and nature, the food the provisions, the fruitfullness, all permeating through it (Ceres).

* The Kombumerri (there seem to be several ways of spelling this name) are the traditional land custodians of this area. My childhood dreams were continually frequented by Kombumerri male spirits. My journeys to the Gold Coast (and subsequent land and people work in the region), art, astrology, stories and visions have all been mentored by those visiting spirits to my childhood dreams. There comes a time, if you stand on the ground for long enough and just LISTEN. REALLY LISTEN, and feel, you will eventually feel, see and hear these spirits, (custodians, generations of life and it's left over "energies) permeating throughout the land.

It is the same with the heavens, stars, astrology charts - all the same. There is alot of HELP out THERE!!! The Moon can often be a great starting point for just getting into the "flow" of things. There are many stories that have been written about the moon, and passed into our human cultures. To watch the moon, see what stories it is passing, and to add your own to them - this is alot of what the ART of reading the CHART really is about.

Reading an Astrological Chart: Tutorial 1

Above is a horoscope for Thursday, 8th January, 2009. It was cast for the location of Byron Bay, NSW, Australia. I shall use the CHART above, as an example, to explain some simple ASTROLOGY.

The CHART as a WHOLE:

It is a picture of the sky, in particular, the belt of sky that travels overhead, and includes the movement of the SUN, MOON, PLANETS and ZODIAC CONSTELLATIONS as the EARTH turns throughtout the day. The above chart is a picture of this belt of sky for 5.32pm, near Byron Bay, Australia.

The chart is divided into 12 sections - a bit like a cake, cut up into 12 pieces. The horizontal line, that travels left to right, is like an HORIZON line. All the planets that are above the horizon when the chart was cast are above this line. All the planets that are below the horizon when the chart was cast, are below this line.

As the earth turns daily, so the planets and signs move clockwise about the circle, daily.

The planets RISE in the EAST (the LHS of the chart) and they set in the WEST (the RHS of the chart).

The RISING LINE (ASCENDANT) is that point that is just RISING, in the EAST, when the chart is cast. In this case, the RISING LINE or ASCENDANT (AC) is 17 degrees 32 minutes GEMINI.

The SYMBOLS:

In this first TUTORIAL, I shall begin with the SUN.

The SUN is a circle, with a dot inside it. This is a symbol showing the existence of everthing - the whole(circle) - with the spirit - the DOT inside - coming out from the total, as individual expression. The SUN represents that part of us that is our SPIRIT JOURNEY. It show us what our SPIRIT is on a mission for, in this lifetime. If you look at where the SUN is, in the chart above, you will see that it is on one of the lines, dividing the chart into its "pieces of cake". These "pieces of cake" are called HOUSES.

The lines that divide the HOUSES are called CUSPS.

The SUN, in the chart above, is on the CUSP of the 8th HOUSE.

There are also PLANETS that are in the 8th HOUSE of this chart.

They are: Jupiter, Mercury and Neptune. The planetoid CHIRON is also in the 8th house, as is the DRAGON'S HEAD or TRUE NODE.

And so, a chart has 12 HOUSES. A house is an area of life that contains similar energies and symbolic features. Each HOUSE is ruled by a "SUN SIGN" and a "PLANET".

A "SUN SIGN" is that part of the 12 ZODIAC CONSTELLATIONS that the SUN appears infront of, at any particular time of the year. (Now it gets a little complex here, as the Greeks standardised the Zodiac Constellations back about 2,000years ago, making the very first point to come over the horizon, at the VERNAL EQUINOX, to be 0 degrees ARIES. Due to the wobbling of the EARTH (what is called the precession of the EQUINOXES) this point that appears to come over the horizon, at the vernal equinox has changed, and instead of it being 0 degrees ARIES, is now about 5 degrees PISCES.

I think that this is enough for Tutorial 1.

Serendipity and the Art of Two Mollys

This website offers refreshingly simple ASTROLOGY and interpretation. You will find an interesting article on the Saturn/Uranus opposition on Molly's website at http://www.north-node.com/astrology-articles/saturn-opposite-uranus .

In searching for Molly and her beautiful astrological interpretations, I came across another "Molly", who also has an astrology blog. And, as she had an article featuring CROWS - http://astrology.about.com/b/2008/09/21/crows-and-the-great-mystery.htm , I have also included her in this article.

Serendipity is a wonderfully continuous event in my life, and I have used it most often, when entering Libraries, and looking for information and books, but now, with the advent of cyber space, it appears that serendipity is alive and well on the internet.

Baba's first big flight.

"Valley of the Crows", Burringbar, Mt Warning Caldera Region, NE NSW, Australia

In the 9 weeks since the children of the Crows have had their fledgling flights, from their birth tree to the neighbouring Eucalypt, I have watched them venture further and further away.

They have more recently, at about two months out of their nest, taken long flights away to the major gathering of Crows (murder) down in the valley some miles away.

I have now seen the Crow children fly with their parents, high on the thermals, chasing Sea Eagles, Wedgetail Eagles and Hawks. This has proven to be rather dangerous, at times.

When the children were very young, they also "play fought" and counted coup with Magpies and baby Kookaburras, while their parents watched on.

During the first week out of the nest, the eldest Crow child, Baba, had flown with it's father, high into the sky thermals, chasing after a Sea Eagle.

On this day, sky was cloudy, and rather windy. As the Sea Eagle passed their nesting trees, the father Crow swooped into the thermal, below the ascending Eagle, feigning attack. He was staying slightly away from the eagle, while the little baby Crow (who I believe was Baba, the eldest baby) flew much higher and further away from them, watching from above.

Suddenly, the thermal took the baby Crow even further into the sky, with the Sea Eagle following skillfully, closing in on the baby. In the blink of an eye, both were far away from the father Crow, who instead of taking the air up, returned to their Eucalypt tree, and waited.

Far above us, the baby Crow soared, higher and higher. The big Sea Eagle, over twice the baby's size, was in pursuit, occasionally flying to attack him.

The father Crow waited in the Eucalypt below. The other two children and their mother were nearby, in their nesting tree, the Crow's Ash. The family waited.

The baby Crow was now circling far away to the north, with the Sea Eagle. They were approaching the clouds. In a flash, the baby Crow veered suddenly into a fluffy grey cloud.

The Sea Eagle dodged quickly into the edge of the cloud too, after the baby Crow, then came out. After making another pass into the cloud, the Sea Eagle then kept circling slowly higher back into the blue sky, alone. Meanwhile the baby Crow had completely dissappeared.

It was half an hour, before Baba, the baby Crow appeared again, and the family was all together, on the power lines outside, above the road. I thought to myself - baby Crows, are indeed amazing flyers, and very courageous!

Moon in Grand cross with Saturn, Uranus and Quaoar

An example of a powerful magical time to empower self truth and help heal mass consciousness and social thinking. The chart (from WhatWatch Astrology program at paperTV.com) above shows mars and the moon culminating in square to Saturn & Uranus, and pulling Pluto and Quaoar into square, at the base of the chart. The red lines show tensions. It can be seen here that limitations and teachings stress social consciousness and these both, in turn, cause tension with transformations and new creative beginnings. The green lines - flowing and ease. It can be seen here that the knowledge, vision and healing (jupiter, neptune,chiron) flow easily to actions and emotions (mars,moon). A great time to wake up!!!!

Over the coming months, the opposition between Saturn and Uranus will be going through a rather strange "re-affirmation" of their negotiated strengths.

These two planets have been in opposition since OCTOBER 2008, and the tensions of their symbology relate to :

SATURN as a teacher and builder in VIRGO through daily health, mundane activity - opposing - URANUS as the mass consciousness and social networks in PISCES through mass healing, faith and all things unseen.

I guess that as an example, there are tensions currently being felt between those community and social custodians (who endeavour, at the earth's insistence, to bring about environmental acountability at a practical day to day level) on one hand, and on the other hand, the massed consciousness and deep social subconsious motivations that are coming to grips with where mankind's spirit interfaces with the reality of what "is" and what "will be" (and what we WANT).

Putting it bluntly:-

The "living of a lie" will come up to face us, squarely in our eyes. If we refuse to open our eyes, this lie will try to be seen and resolved in our sleep and our subconscious activities. The living of a lie can make people sick. The living of a social lie can make society sick. However, through deep tensions of the heavenly "stories", following this opposition of SATURN and URANUS over the next year and a half, or so, can help us see the "lie", recognise it and move towards truth - inner truth and social truth - and hence - wellness of being.

SATURN and URANUS will stay in opposition until about the end of MARCH 2009, after which, tension will lessen until, again, through AUGUST & SEPTEMBER 2009, the tension will mount again, peaking just before SEPTEMBER 15th 2009. Now, this opposition just doesn't go away then, but travelling forward, into 2010, these two planets begin this opposing tension again, in late APRIL and MAY 2010 and by JULY 26th 2010, this tension will have climaxed for this long opposition, with it finally fading by mid AUGUST 2010. Interestingly enough, the final climaxing of this tension takes place, not in PISCES and VIRGO, but in ARIES and LIBRA - signifying many new "individual agreements" and new partnerships and compromises.

It will take just over another twenty years for SATURN to finally catch URANUS in the sky, to conjunct with it in the beginning of CANCER, which is the base of the traditional horoscope, where beginnings and endings take place. Why am I saying all of this?

Because the world moves slowly, but our KARMIC "graces" are catching up with us rather quickly, on a social level, and as the mass consciousness mounts, at ever increasing rates towards it's own new heights of awareness - it pays to plan ahead.

What passes now can help form the road upon which others travel later. These are unusual times. To help foster healthy, truthful mass consciousness, internal truths are best dealt with now rather than later. Thus helping ourselves and others heal. The flow on from this healing is MASSIVE!!!!!!!

NOW, transits of the MOON can highlight all kinds of emotions and mass movements. Following the MOON transits, across this opposition, can help shine light on emotional blocks, deep seated "home truths" and how to find the courage to create new beginnings.

The movement of the MOON, in relation to SATURN and URANUS over this coming year and a half can help us find appropriate times to journey inward and help ourselves to some spiritual medicine, nurturing and comfort, as we work towards helping our "reality" and the REALITY meet comfortably (without the doublespeak and dichotomies of current personal and social "TRUTHS").

And so, we have discussed SATURN, URANUS, the MOON - what next?

Squaring both SATURN and URANUS is the trans-neptunian object, QUAOAR(singing into creation) in Sagittarius (knowledge and higher mind).

To have QUAOAR here can help strengthen resolve and understanding to really create the VISION of health and truth, that will take us forward to new beginnings 20 years from now.

And strengthening this resolve to uncover our hidden agendas and doublespeak - to be that little boy in the EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES story, and help awaken everybody at all levels, this can indeed be a wonderful thing.

So, as the tensions mount, with this slow SATURN/URANUS (teacher/mass thinking) opposition, and as they both square QUAOAR (singing into creation) slowly, also, it will be the moon that most frequently forms a grand cross with these three bodies.

And the GRAND CROSS is one of the most marvellous tools for self improvement and getting to the NEXT LEVEL!!! There will be times, almost monthly, when this grand crossing occurs, and in the next entry, I shall endeavour to list these times, briefly, rather approximately, and leave it up to the individuals' instincts to fine tune the "moment" of MAGIC and inner truth seeking.

Corvus conjunct Midheaven in Natal Chart

This is my natal chart. I have CORVUS conjuct the Midheaven (my interface with the world at large).

In particular, when I was born, stars like KRAZ, ALGORAB were highest FIXED STARS.

Quaoar is also close to the Midheaven. The trans-Neptunean object Quaoar was discovered by Chad Trujillo and Michael E.Brown. For me, Quaoar seems to be the point where I can "sing" my own existence, as a creative entity, into this world, and beyond. It is strange, that, as I type this, although it is 9.30pm at night, I just heard a crow give one sharp call, in the distance.

From listening and watching and relating with these Burringbar crows, I have subtly begun to "hear" their "words". This call, just now, was probably because an owl was nearby, and the crow was giving warning.

How would I know? I feel that I just DO, and learning to let go, and feel the voices of the crows, and the children of the crows is vastly helped by having CORVUS (the Raven or Crow) high in the sky, at the time of my birth. A wonderful gift to be explored. Anyone, when they look at their natal chart, can see what planets, stars and constellations were high up in the sky, when they were born.

These heavenly bodies near our Midheaven can act as guiding "lights". Understanding the mythology and symbols, attached to these heavenly bodies, can help shine a light on the direction we take, in this world.

Children of the Crows

Jeckle (father), Benoit, Baba and Lucy on the 1st of December, 2008. The Children of the Crows have been flying out of their nest for about 6 weeks at this stage, and they already have had many adventures.

The Crow's Ash Tree is on the left. This was the Crow family nesting tree. To the right is a Eucalypt. This was the first tree that the children flew to, when they left their nest.

The father spent much time, at night, sleeping in the Eucalypt, before the crow children left their nest.

Sometimes,while he guarded the nest, he would stay awake all night, calling to ward off the owls that flew nearby.

Crow Magic

Crows lives have long intertwined with human life and human stories.

Their symbolism includes death, battle, law, greed, bravery, magic and a variety of omens.

During the winter of 2008, two Torresian Crows built a nest in the Crows Ash tree that overlooks the valley to the south east of my home.

The two crows have reared three young Crow children who, after leaving their nest late October, are now almost fully grown.

As far as I know, I am the only common link between these two people who live on opposite sides of the world from one another. I just thought it was a nice connection between the Crows! Crows are very protective and intuitively look out for one another.
